Prospective longitudinal pilot study: factors associated with keeping up physical activity after a pain management programme and potential characteristics of a support package.
Prospective longitudinal pilot study: factors associated with keeping up physical activity after a pain management programme and potential characteristics of a support package.
We will assess the association of the key barriers and facilitators identified in work package 1 with keeping up physical activity for 6 months after a pain management programme. The barriers and facilitators will be measured using questionnaires and physical activity will be measured using accelerometry. We will use regression analyses to test the association. The questionnaire will also ask participants about potential support package characteristics.
We aim to recruit 100-120 participants.
The results will help with selecting appropriate targets for the support package and with identifying characteristics in work package 3.
